Ampel was cheerful, bright, mainly acoustic pop wrapped up in wry guitar lines overlapping each other and with a lot of jumpy bass melodies. The two front figures of this quintet, Kasper and Ditte sang melodic ditties about the drollness of life without ever over analysing it.
